HEUSCH family - Genealogy
 17 -18 th Century-  Aachen (Aix-la-Chapelle)

Records from the year 1288 indicate that the family name "Heusch" was already seen in the city of Limburg (Germany).  Aegidius Heusch was born October 13, 1629 and obtained received his medical doctorate from Reims University. He married Anna Elisabeth Hanff (1636-1681), the daughter of an apothecary in Aachen. Their son, Gerard Heusch (1678-1759) was appointed medical physician of the city of Aachen (Archiatrus urbis Aquisgranens).
