Nürburgring OldTimer Grand-Prix 2001
 Event Video - Maserati 300S

Video CD (mpg.) Total time: 14 minutes/57 seconds
Audio: Yes - real time.

Experience the thrill of being at the famous Oldtimer Grand Prix races at the world famous Nürburgring race track in Germany. See the Maserati 300S chassis No.3057, which originally belonged to Benoit Musy, restored in all of its glory.  After his death in 1956, the 300S race car was sold to the Angola Racing team. It was raced for a few years and then left neglected in Africa. More than three decades later, Stein Johnsen discovered the 300S and had it shipped to Norway. Following a two year rebuild at Church Green Engineering, England, Musy's race car was brought back to factory specifications. Today, this marvelous historic race car is back on the track under the watchful eye of Martin Stretton Racing.

Enjoy the unique opportunity to take a "virtual ride" in the 300 S Maserati! Feel the thrill of the race track as you are sitting in the passenger side of the 300 S. Hear the loud sounds of up and down gear shifting, revving engines, as you race around the track at Nurburgring. You can almost feel the wind in your face, as you race around the track in the passenger side of this beautiful and powerful race car. Like nothing you have probably ever experienced - a rare viewing opportunity!

Visit the grounds and racing pits of Nürburgring - and admire other vintage cars, including Maseratis, Jaguars, Ferraris, and other classic race cars in action. The sounds of the cars and people put you right there in the middle of one of the most thrilling events. This is a unique video taking you back in time.
